Personal In 1997, my husband Tim and I bought our vacation home here in Big Bear. Loving all it had to offer, we decided to leave our Marina del Rey home and moved to Big Bear full time. We started Mountain Ridge Homes, a company that builds 10-20 new homes per year here in the Big Bear Valley. At the urging of our existing clients, I became a licensed real estate agent so that I could extend the services I currently offered. A third generation Californian, I was raised in Tarzana, (home of Edgar Rice Burrows, the author of Tarzan). I grew up riding my horse and enjoying many of the “outdoor pleasures” Southern California has to offer. I attended college at San Diego State University where I majored in Communications. After college I went on to a career in Advertising/Marketing, working with corporate sales departments designing and implementing large scale marketing programs.
